I would like to bring to your attention 3 introductory (online) lectures on Julia programming language, aimed at Data Science, Machine Learning, and Scientific Computing users. See also here.

Julia has been created at MIT and it is a high-level, high-performance programming language, designed specifically for scientific computing, machine learning, data mining, large-scale linear algebra, distributed, and parallel computing.
